Corrugated · Packaging buyer’s guide
A package sample review should answer a defined question: fit, assembly, appearance, or distribution performance. One attractive mockup rarely answers all four.

The short answer
Name the purpose of each sample: fit, assembly, appearance, or distribution. Record any difference from production materials. Acceptance should connect to that purpose; a visually attractive prototype is not evidence that a filled package passed transport testing.
What to review before approving production
Agree what the sample represents and what remains different from production. Pack it with the real product, document the result, and resolve failures before approval. Where formal transport testing is required, agree the appropriate protocol with the responsible packaging specialist rather than improvising a certification claim.
Build a practical project brief

- Written acceptance criteria
- Owner for changes and final approval
