Corrugated · Packaging buyer’s guide
A quote can become confusing when one person records outside dimensions and another expects usable inside dimensions. State which measurements you are supplying and show the assembled structure.

The short answer
Record the agreed usable inside dimensions in the converter’s required order. Measure the actual product arrangement with protection in place. Confirm the erected sample because board thickness and folding affect the difference between internal space and outside size.
What to review before approving production
Measure the packed product arrangement, including protection and any insert. Ask the converter to confirm dimension order and usable internal space on the drawing. Check the sample once erected; a flat blank or an outside measurement cannot establish the final fit by itself.
Build a practical project brief
- Product layout and protective components
- Inside or outside measurement convention
- Dimension order on the approved drawing
- Filled sample fit check
