Labels · Packaging buyer’s guide
A tamper-evident label is selected around an opening point and an observable sign of disturbance. Start by identifying what a person would have to open, remove, or separate to reach the product.

The short answer
The seal must bridge a point that moves when the package is opened. An attractive sticker entirely on one fixed panel may provide branding without showing opening. Decide the visible evidence you require and then test that opening path.
What to review before approving production
Ask what the seal should do when that opening is attempted: tear, leave a visible pattern, or show another defined change. Evaluate the seal on the actual closure. Tamper evidence is different from child resistance and does not automatically establish a regulatory certification.
