Begin with the candle vessel
Send the actual jar, tin, or other vessel with the dimensions of the usable labeling area. Curves, surface texture, and seams can affect the label shape and position. If you already have a label, include a printed sample and explain what you want to preserve or change.
Plan the full scent collection
Organize the designs by scent, vessel size, and any seasonal or limited editions. Record artwork filenames and quantities for each version. A shared design system can keep the range consistent while making individual scents easy to identify. Confirm the text and artwork for each item before proof approval.
Review material and placement together
Describe the vessel surface, when labels are applied, and the expected storage and handling conditions. Explain any performance requirements rather than selecting a material by appearance alone. The team can review suitable options for the job; use the actual vessel when evaluating the result.
Coordinate the label with its carton
If the candle ships or retails in a printed carton, share both artwork layouts. Compare the label on the vessel beside the outer carton, including the brand color references and product names. Different materials can reproduce the same artwork differently, so agree on a useful printed reference.
